ABOUT DEPENDABLE DAVE

My career in the home building industry started in 1987 when I was hired to dig post holes.  I literally started from the ground up!  I graduated to framing houses as an employee and by the mid-1990s, I was framing houses for the bigger building companies with a business partner.  Before I knew it, I had my own company constructing new custom homes and doing major renovations on existing ones. 

A career opportunity brought me to Edmonton in 2013, where I entered the new home warranty world.  After much contemplation and reflection, I decided to leave the corporate world in 2022 and Dependable Dave Handyman Services was born!  It's my full time job and I'm loving every minute of it.

I get great satisfaction from seeing the smile on a customer's face when their project is completed.  I thoroughly enjoy helping people and doing what I love enables me to do that on a daily basis.  I am very fortunate.

When I say I've done everything from blueprints to occupancy and warranty, I really have!

When I'm not helping people with their homes, I try and spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors.

I love the views in the mountains - but can do without the too close for comfort grizzly encounter I had in 2022!  Camping, canoeing, fishing, cooking over an open fire and relaxing are typical weekend plans.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and try to make the most of each day.
